Cup fever

In 2017 Bermuda witnesses the madness called America’s Cup. 

Millions of dollars have been invested in campaigns to win the Cup. It was arranged that all the Tall Ships Crews could visit the ‘AC-village’ for free, so more than 300 crewmembers did so.

Amidst all the commercial noise there was the silent corner of an insurance company, sponsor of the event. They also sponsored a sailing program for children with autism. For some of those children sailing proved to be an entrance into their world and also a window for them on the rest of the world. It warmed my heart to see that both types of sponsoring existed next to each other, even within one company.
